Bid and Tender Coordinator - Italian speaking

What will this role of Bid and Tender Coordinator entail?

As a Bid and Tender Coordinator, you’ll work with the Academic Team to investigate, clarify and creatively interpret regional/national/European authorities tenders for youth mobility for English learning, supporting the completion and submission of high-quality and high-impact pre-tender material, presentations and associated documents.

You’ll also manage all generated leads via email and over the telephone/Skype and face to face, liaising with key influencers in Italian or other European secondary schools and lifelong learning organisations, such as teachers, bursars, headmasters or project managers. By researching their educational curriculum and socio-cultural needs, you’ll focus on proposing relevant solutions and services. You’ll be analysing the bid for the public procurement procedures and work closely with clients and colleagues to support the submission and compile the documents. Besides the management of public funding opportunities, you will be involved in the coordination of returning clients and the planning of the programmes for language learning and work experience.

What will I need to be considered for this Bid and Tender Coordinator vacancy?

• Have experience of public procurement procedures and tender processes, ideally with an understanding of EU funded projects, preferably Erasmus+ and EU structural funds
• Be fluent in Italian and English. French, Spanish or other European languages would be an advantage.
• Strong writing and researching skills, with a high level of attention to details and superb proof-reading ability
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects.
• Customer focused with superb communication skills

Although not essential, a degree level qualification or overseas equivalent, with a background in International Relations, European Affairs, Political Science or similar, would be highly advantageous.

What will I receive in return?

Salary, £20,000 to £26,000 - level dependent on experience plus up to 20% of salary bonus on target achievement

Benefits: 30 days annual leave including bank holidays

Contract: One contract is available: 1 x permanent, full time working hours, Monday to Friday.

Start date: ASAP June-July-August 2019
